Performance #1: My Hero by the Foo Fighters. Originally written by Dave Grohl as a tribute to ordinary, everyday people vocal solo by Alluria Daniels `21, performed, recorded, mixed, and edited by Brebeuf Jesuit students, and arrangement by Music faculty.
Performance #2: Oceans Oceans was a favorite of the Brebeuf Choirs and sung at most all-school masses until the pandemic of 2020. During this time the Brebeuf Choirs along with the magic of technology pulled together this virtual choir performance of one of ‘ours’ and the world’s move beloved worship songs. Filmed from the comfort of everyone’s home 35 students along with several choir alum recorded themselves singing their vocal part along to a click track. Then Brebeuf students Herschel Nathan & Ronan Laughlin along with Mr. Tippel with approx. 200 hours combined created this video of our virtual choir performance of ‘OCEANS’ which released on May 13, 2020.

HELP BREBEUF FROM YOUR LIVING ROOM Although this year’s gala will look a little different, you can still help us in our mission to raise critical funds for our Brebeuf Jesuit community by hosting a Watch Party at your home with friends and family in your bubble. To help get the party started, we will be sending packages to registered Watch Parties with instructions for the evening to help with the flow of hosting your own personal event. And for those who are comfortable, we would love to include your Watch Party as part of our live feed for the virtual program! Let us know, and we’ll help get you connected.
REGISTER YOUR WATCH PARTY!
WHAT IS A WATCH PARTY? A Watch Party is a new way for people to watch videos on a streaming service in real time. Once a Watch Party is started, participants can watch the program and interact with others around them at the same moment. A Watch Party can be a “party of one” in your PJ’s on your sofa or you can host a gathering (with appropriate COVID guidelines) to enjoy the online event as a group. We encourage folks to register their Watch Party so we can send updates and instructions. Special links will be sent to share details and we encourage guests to participate in a way they feel most comfortable.
